British luxury liner pays first visit to Bermuda

Queen Victoria paid her first visit to Bermuda yesterday, carrying 1912 passengers and 970 crew.

British luxury liner Queen Victoria visited the Island yesterday, bringing nearly 3,000 passengers and crew to Dockyard.Making her first visit to the Island en route from Nassau to the Azores, the 964ft vessel arrived at Heritage Wharf at around 7am and departed at around 5pm, carrying 1912 passengers and 970 crew members.The Queen Victoria features a three-tier grand lobby, ornate marble staircases and a 6,000 title library. She was named by Camilla Duchess of Cornwall in December 2007.
