New cricket league to get permanent base at NSC

Bermuda Cricket Board president Reggie Pearman has hailed as a 'win-win for both sides' an agreement that will see the Elite Player League take place this weekend.The BCB and National Sports Centre trustees have come to an aragement over the hiring of the facility, that should see the new league be permanently based at North Field."The BCB is extremely pleased that a 'win-win' agreement with the NSC trustees to allow this important series to be played at the stadium has been made," said Pearman. "We look forward to seeing the EPL start this weekend."National team head coach David Moore was equally enthusiastic about the announcement, saying it was vital for the Island's future that the games took place on 'international size grounds'.Saturday's two games will begin at 12pm, with Hunt's XI taking on Simmons XI, followed by Symonds XI v Parfitt XI at 4pm.
