Two female tourists were injured last night in a jet ski accident near the Vixon shipwreck near Daniel’s Head.Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening; the Jet Ski was extensively damaged.The incident happened around 5.55pm, according to police.Said a spokesman: It appears that two female American visitors were riding on a Jet Ski when it collided with a pylon. Both victims, a 22-year-old woman and her 21-year-old sister, sustained leg injuries as a result. They were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment."Inquiries into this incident are underway by the Police Marine Unit.
