Plans for the proposed Park Hyatt Resort in St George’s are now available for viewing at the Department of Planning offices.The Department officially received the plans on Monday, which show the layout of the multi-million dollar resort project, intended for construction on the former Club Med site.According to the application, the site will feature 122 residential units, including 71 condos, 39 villas and 12 detached residences in addition to a 100 key hotel spread over eight buildings.The plans also show a spa, to be built on the Fort Albert site, a new golf clubhouse and a fitness centre.Also included in the application is a utilities site with sewage and reverse osmosis facilities, to be built in an area off Old Military Road, a beach club with a restaurant, and off-site staff accommodations with 162 beds.Any objections to the application are due at the Department of Planning by July 15.Useful website: www.planning.gov.bm.
