A 40-year-old was stabbed and left on a Hamilton street corner early this morning.Police found the man at the corner of Court and Elliot Streets around 2am.A 26-year-old was later arrested.The officers were responding to a report of an assault at the location.Said a Police spokeswoman: “He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact the Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.
