A Police inspector who was hit by a car in the course of his duties on Friday has been discharged from hospital.Insp Troy Glasgow suffered arm injuries when the vehicle was allegedly driven at him while he was dealing with a domestic incident. He needed surgery and was kept in hospital for more than three days before being discharged on Tuesday.A man has been charged with committing assault in a bid to escape arrest and escaping lawful custody in connection with the incident.
