Fish Hut restaurant looks to change location

Court Street restaurant The Fish Hut could be moving to a new location on Elliot Street.

Last month, the restaurant submitted a change of use application for what is currently a residence at 6 Elliot Street, next to the Bulls Head car park, to change the building into a restaurant.

Renovations to the building would include the building of a larger kitchen and replacing wooden floors with tile.

The new restaurant would be around the same size as the current location.

A spokeswoman for the restaurant said that if approved, the new building would replace the restaurant’s current site, as opposed to being a second location.

“We are looking for a better location,” she said.
