Road resurfacing will take place on Victoria Street next week, the City of Hamilton announced today.The work will start at 7am Monday and will be completed by 6pm Thursday.Said a spokeswoman: “Victoria Street will be closed to Eastbound traffic between Cedar Avenue and Parliament Street. Shoppers on motorcycles and in vehicles may access The Shopping Centre from Brunswick Street only.”Work to install Puffin traffic lights on the corner of Parliament and Church Streets will continue until early February 2012, the spokeswoman added.“Everyone is encouraged to use extremely caution as they approach these junctions. The City apologises for any inconvenience caused.”
