This show is like a spin-off of that.”A variety of artists will pit their verbal skills against one another in brief rapping jousts at the January 28 event.“I give people real-life situations, none of that bubblegum rap,” said musician King InFamus, who will showcase a hard-hitting new song, Real Life.“What can I say? I’ve been in the game for quite some time, and I feel I’ve got something. Call it rap, hip-hop or R&B. It’s all just music.”Chewstick and Devils Isles Entertainment performer C.A.S.E. said: “I’ve been seven years with Chewstick, which is where Seven approached me to bring a different kind of flavour to the line-up. I try to tell the kinds of stories that most people don’t get to hear.”Tickets are available from this week at 517-9731 or 595-5230.Useful website: www.wix.com/seven_philpott/flamthrower
