The Bermuda National Library is to take a new approach to speed dating as a means of encouraging readers.Read dating will be held at the Queen Street facility in advance of Valentine’s Day next week.Essentially a modified version of the popular speed dating, read dating allows persons to interact within a fixed time frame in an effort to make a romantic connection.“The upcoming BNL read dating event involves individuals reading a book of their choice and mingling with other participants,” said a Government spokeswoman. “At a fixed time frame, an event moderator will take the opportunity to highlight the services and programmes on hand at the BNL..”The event will be held at the library tomorrow from 7pm to 8.30pm.
