Awards will be presented to outstanding teenagers at a ceremony at Fairmont Hamilton.

Teen Services says the 104 nominees for its Outstanding Teen Awards have demonstrated leadership abilities and given renewed hope that the Island’s future is in good hands.

Selena Simons, chairwoman of the Overall Outstanding Teen Committee, said in a statement: “While reviewing their profiles and various achievements it was immediately obvious that these students are Bermuda’s high flyers.

“They are extraordinary and amazing. They found unique ways to maximise their time and they seemed to be highly skilled in a variety of areas.”

The event, sponsored by KeyTech, starts at 6pm on Saturday, March 24.

Tickets priced $35 and are available for purchase from Teen Services, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. For more information, telephone 292-4598.
