Recently retired Chief Justice Richard Ground has been appointed to the Court of Appeal.A statement from Government House this afternoon said: "After consultation with the President of the Appeal Court of Bermuda, Edward Zacca, the Governor of Bermuda, Sir Richard Gozney, announced on Thursday, April 12 that Richard Ground, the recently retired Chief Justice of Bermuda, will be joining the Island's Appeal Court."The Appeal Court's panels for their sessions in June 2012 and November 2012 have already been set. Mr Ground's appointment will take effect from January 1, 2013."
