Resort sponsors Middle-to-End cycle event

Elbow Beach is to sponsor the Middle-to-End Cycle of the annual Catlin End-to-End.The South Shore resort is promising a dramatic Tour-de-Bermuda-style start to the May 5 competition.Cyclists will line the resort’s driveway before the race begins at 11am.The event has grown from 33 to 238 cyclists since the first Middle-to-End Cycle challenge was held in 2002.End-to-End chairperson Anne Mello said: “The Middle-to-End Cycle event is our fastest growing area of participation, and we’re hoping to see more people than ever at this year’s tenth anniversary event.”Participants will be eligible for a number of prizes, courtesy of Elbow Beach.Prizes include a four-night stay at the resort including breakfast and spa treatments.
