An American man died after collapsing in King’s Square, St George’s, yesterday afternoon.Police say the 60-year-old was given CPR at the scene by members of the public after he became seriously ill at about 2.30pm.He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance and was later pronounced dead by an on-call doctor.Officers say inquiries into the sudden death are ongoing and an autopsy is anticipated in due course.
