Ship crewman dropped off for treatment

The Island took an unusual caller after the semi-submersible load lifting ship Trustee dropped off a crew member yesterday for medical treatment.The 216-metre ship, which has a gross tonnage of 45,000 according to Bermuda Maritime Operations, is a converted tanker designed for lifting heavy equipment.Flying under the Netherlands Antilles flag, the Trustee diverted to the Island on the way from Mexico to Spain, to send a man ashore for treatment of a leg wound.
