The 29-year-old Pembroke man found lying outside Woody’s Bar and Restaurant on Thursday, has been airlifted to a US medical facility in critical condition.Police and emergency services were called to the scene around 12.45am to find the man lying on the ground outside the premises with severe head injuries.He was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial via ambulance and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.Meanwhile, police are appealing for public assistance.Detectives are interested in speaking with anyone who may have information on how the man sustained his injuries.Anyone who can assist is urged to contact the Somerset Police Station on 234-1010.
