Fallen pole closes East End Primary School

Off line: A crew from the Bermuda Telephone Company removes wires from a downed Belco pole at the East End Primary School yesterday.The pole fall caused the school to be closed yesterday.
East End Primary School is expected to reopen today after it was closed by a downed electrical pole.The pole’s position posed a safety hazard and left the school without power or telephone service yesterday, a Ministry of Education spokeswoman said.A Belco crew restored power to the school.
