@$:A motorist was last night in critical condition in hospital following a collision in Pembroke.The smash took place at around 9pm on Sunday night on Crow Lane near the junction with Lane Hill, leaving a motorcycle rider and his passenger in hospital.According to police, the motorcycle and a car travelling on the same stretch of road collided. The bike rider and his passenger both aged 25 and from Devonshire were injured as a result of the impact and taken by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.A Police spokesman said that one of the crash victims was in a critical condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit while the other was in a stable condition on a general ward.Both vehicles were damaged in the incident. It is understood that no-one in the car sustained any injuries.Witnesses are asked to contact Pc Michelle Berkeley on 295-0011.
