Centre Against Abuse offers free anger issues programme to women

The Centre Against Abuse will next week begin their fourth programme dealing aimed at tackling anger issued.According to Laurie Sheill, Executive Director for the charity, the 12-week Relationship Education Programme for Women intended to help women discover the source of anger issues and move forward.“The workshop is designed for women who may have been angry due to childhood experiences, workplace issues, those who find it hard to forgive, and those who find themselves in a never ending cycle of unhealthy relationships,” she said.“They will assist a woman in identify where the anger comes from, understand that anger is a choice, provide tools to redesign your future, introduce forgiveness and understanding the importance of healthy relationships.”She said that the previous sessions were tremendous successes that received rave reviews from participants.The new session, facilitated by Programme Director Rosana Vickers, is set to begin on March 6, but registration ends on March 4.For more information or to register, call the Centre Against Abuse at 292-4366 or e-mail info@centreagaistabuse.bm.
