Bermuda youngsters visit the UN

A group of Bermuda schoolchildren yesterday visited the United Nations headquarters in New York.The trip to the two-day convention was organised by the Global Arts Foundation. The children witnessed UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon make an opening address in the UN’s Great Assembly Hall.Fifteen students representing The Berkeley Institute, Cedarbridge Academy, Mount Saint Agnes, Warwick Academy, BHS and Saltus attended the Conference and were among 1,000 visiting students from around the world.
