The Centre Against Abuse will host a Captain’s Choice Golf Tournament on Friday, April 12 at the Riddell’s Bay Golf & Country Club to raise funds.Executive Director Laurie Shiell said: “Proceeds will support the programmes and services, which includes the island’s only shelter for women and their children.”The $175 entry fee includes the round of golf (green fee and golf cart rental), a boxed lunch, tickets for drinks from the beverage cart and the Awards Ceremony where the fun concludes.To book in advance go to www.ptix.bm or www.centreagainstabuse.bm, and there will be registration on the day of the event at 12pm with the shotgun start at 1pm.Ms Shiell added: “Of course, we’ll let you buy mulligans, tempt you into trying to Beat the Pro and do your best to win prizes for the longest drive, closest to the hole and much more.
