Animal wardens have launched an investigation after ducklings were found dead at Botanical Gardens.A Government spokesman today issued the following statement: “The Department of Parks can advise that this afternoon they received a report of dead ducklings in the aviary at the Botanical Gardens. The animal wardens have collected the animals and will inspect them in order to determine the cause of death, which is unknown at this time.“The Department of Parks apologises for any distress or inconvenience caused.”
