Island marks World Intellectual Property Day

World Intellectual Property Day was celebrated with prizes given to the winners of an online creativity quiz.

Home Affairs Minister Mike Fahy last week presented Shira Litwack and Stephanie Corday with a $1,000 travel voucher and a $500 cash prize respectively, after they came top in the Registry General’s test of creative knowledge.

“The goal of World Intellectual Property Day is to encourage Bermudians to be creative and innovative so that these ideas continue to evolve,” Senator Fahy said.
