Crash rider arrested
A Southampton man was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving after a crash on South Road in Warwick.
A police spokesman said that at around 8.15pm on Friday officers and other first responders attended the scene of a two-vehicle collision near Marley Beach Drive.
“As a result of the collision a 29-year-old male motorcyclist was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment,” the spokesman said.
“The victim, a resident of Southampton, was apparently discharged later and arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. There were no other injuries reported.”
