Smoke drama at Hamilton docks

Billowing white smoke from the Hamilton docks at around 2.30pm yesterday drew a quick response from emergency services.

Alarmed members of the public contacted

The Royal Gazette about a possible fire.

However, according to a Bermuda Fire Service spokesman, the smoke came from a faulty truck engine.

Quick response: Bermuda Fire and Rescue along with police were called to Hamilton docks after a vehicle started to billow heavy smoke.
