Police seek warrant overseas for woman charged with threatening judge

Bermuda authorities are seeking a warrant overseas for a woman accused of trying to provoke the assault of a Supreme Court judge.

The Royal Gazette understands that defendant Carolyn Drover has left the Island.

Ms Drover, 43, was brought to court in April on a charge of posting an inflammatory comment on this newspaper’s website in January 25.

She was due for trial after denying attempting to procure another person to assault Puisne Judge Carlisle Greaves.

Ms Drover was also accused of posting Mr Justice Greaves’ home address online.
