Minister lays wreath to Fabian victims
Deputy Premier and Minister of Public Safety Michael Dunkley has laid a wreath at the Memorial for the four Bermudians who died in Hurricane Fabian ten years ago in September 2003.
Minister Dunkley said: "It is important to remember those who were lost in that terrible storm and to be mindful of the effect that their loss has had on their families. It's hard to believe that it has been 10 years but I'm sure that we all vividly remember Fabian and continue to extend our thoughts and prayers to the families of the victims.
"It is also important to recognise the work of the September 5th Foundation and the success they are having to date in helping the impacted families. They demonstrate once again how a community can rally to help in times of need."
