Woman arrested after alleged Court Street assault

A woman has been arrested following an alleged assault on two other females on Court Street in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said officers and emergency services attended the incident at about 3am.

He said two female victims, both believed to be 50 and from Pembroke, were at the location and were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance with facial injuries.

The spokesman added: “A 39-year-old St George's woman has been arrested in connection with this matter. Inquiries are ongoing and witnesses, particularly persons that may have been in the area of Court Street between Angle Street and Dundonald Street from 2am to 3am Tuesday, should contact Detective Constable Mark McCormack at the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 247-1291.”
