Motorcyclist, 60, injured in collision

A motorist is in the Intensive Care Unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital following a serious collision in Warwick on Sunday evening.

According to police, a car and a motorcyclist collided at the junction of Middle Road and Longford Road at around 7pm.

The injured 60-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital, where his condition last night was described as stable. The driver of the car was unharmed.

Any witnesses to the collision are encouraged to contact PC Kion-Keith Wade on 295-0011.
