Nominations are being sought by the Ministry of Economic Development for the seventh annual Technology Innovation Awards.

The awards publicly recognise outstanding achievements by Bermuda-based companies, organisations and individuals for their creation and use of innovative technology.

This year’s categories are: Innovation of the Year — Local Market Focus; Innovation of the Year — International Focus; Most Innovative Youth Project, and a People’s Choice Award.

The winner of the People’s Choice Award will be determined by a poll on Facebook, which will run November 8 through 17.

The closing date for nominations is Friday.

The awards will be presented at a reception on November 21.
