Bermuda family’s pets feature on ‘America’s Funniest Home Videos’

A family whose pets were featured on national television described the experience as surreal.

On Sunday a video clip of three-year old cat Pongo “massaging” boxer dog Annie was highlighted on ABC’s ‘America’s Funniest Home Videos.’

While owner Robin Dawn Millett said the video wasn’t able to capture the show’s $10,000 prize, she was happy to see her pets get international attention.

“We have had people comment on Facebook. We have family who live away and they all stayed up to watch the programme,” she said.

“Seeing it on television was pretty surreal. Our son, who is seven, just said it was cool.

“We were included in a montage. Apparently there are a number of cats and dogs that have unusual relationships.”

She said the family received Pongo from the Bermuda Feline Assistance Bureau after he was found in a dumpster, and the cat became fast friends with the entire family, including Annie.
