Island’s pair battling to be top dog

Two of the Island’s top dogs will represent Bermuda this weekend at the American Kennel Club (AKC) Agility Invitational in Orlando, Florida.
The Bermuda Kennel Club announced that Cathy Gosling’s six-year-old Labrador Retriever, Bella, will jet to the US along with Douglas Mello’s eight-year-old Border Collie, Tess.
The event will pit their skills again more than 600 canines. The AKC annually chooses the five top agility dogs from each breed across the US.
AKC affiliated dogs clubs are also invited: last year Bermuda was represented, along with the UK, Canada and Puerto Rico.
