US man in serious road crash

An American contract worker remains listed in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit following a two vehicle collision on Tuesday.
The accident occurred at 1.45pm on January 21 on Point Finger Road in Paget where a rental livery cycle and a motorcycle collided resulting in injury to both riders.
The 29-year-old American was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment. The 70-year-old motorcyclist, a Devonshire woman sustained relatively minor injuries.
A police spokesman said: “Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Llewellyn Simons on the main police telephone number 295-0011.
