A spokesman for the Department said: “Please be advised that industrial staff from the Department of Marine and Ports will attend a meeting held at Bermuda Industrial Union headquarters today and all Sea Express ferry service has been suspended until further notice.”

The Union met this morning regarding the termination of ten staff members from the Fairmont Hamilton Princess, which caused workers to down tools yesterday.

It is believed that workers will be marching from BIU headquarters this afternoon.
