A 59-year-old Smith’s man injured in a road collision in Pembroke last night has been released from hospital.

According to police, the man was travelling west on a motorcycle along Cox’s Hill Road at around 8.30pm when he was in collision with a van parked on the same side of the road.

The man was taken to hospital to be treated for head injuries but a police spokesman said he subsequently signed a release form and checked out.

Police are still investigating the collision and anyone with information is urged to contact the police on 295-0011.
