Fire Service names new Dispatch Supervisor
The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service have announced the promotion of Donna Hedrickson to the position of Emergency Dispatch Supervisor.
After 11 years as an emergency medical dispatcher, Ms Hendrickson's new role will put her in charge of “the monitoring and supervision of the emergency medical dispatching system to ensure that all 911 emergency and non-emergency calls are processed in accordance with established protocols and standards.”
Ms Hendrickson has completed training in APCO Basic Emergency Medical Dispatcher Training, APCO Basic Telecommunicator Training, APCO Communication Supervisor Certification and APCO Communication Training Officer. She is also a member of the Critical Incident Stress Management team (CISM).
The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service congratulated Ms Hendrickson congratulated on her promotion, wishing her “continued success at our department”.
