Union chief to meet with CedarBridge students

CedarBridge Academy students will get chance to meet a union chief from overseas on Friday.

Barbados Trade Unionist Sir Leroy Trotman will visit the school where he will meet the Principal and Education Ministry officials upon arrival.

Arrangements have been made for him to talk with S1 and S2 pupils who are studying trade unionism in their Bermuda Social Studies course.

The students will get the opportunity to take part in a question and answer session with Sir Leroy.

His visit will end with a tour of the school and an opportunity to meet with Barbadian teachers on the staff.

He is visiting the Island as a guest speaker at a conference being held at the Liberty Theatre for members of the BPSU.
