Road works are likely to cause traffic delays on Point Finger Road this weekend as construction of the Hospital’s new Acute Care Wing continues.

On Saturday and Sunday, D&J Construction on behalf of BCM McAlpine Ltd will be carrying out trenching work for a road crossing to the BELCO pole to the north of Astwood Road junction.

The road will be excavated in two halves to allow single lane traffic.
