Police hear parish residents’ concerns

Bermuda Police Service are inviting Smith’s, Devonshire and Pembroke residents to come out and meet their Community Action Team (CAT) officers this month.

On Saturday the Central CAT will be hosting a ‘Meet your CAT Officer’ clinic at Terceira’s Gas Station on North Shore so that the officers can address Smith’s and Devonshire residents and hear their concerns.

And next Saturday, the officers will be hosting a second meeting at Gorhams on St. John’s Road for Pembroke residents to meet with the team.

The meetings are scheduled to take place between 2pm and 5pm.

A spokesman said: “During both events the respective CAT officers will also be conducting foot patrols in the relevant neighbourhoods to further engage with area residents.

“It is anticipated that additional ‘Meet Your CAT Officer’ events will take place at familiar locations in the remaining parishes in due course.”
