Several roads in Hamilton will be partially closed to vehicles at lunchtime tomorrow to make way for a march being held by the People’s Campaign for Equality, Jobs and Justice.

Starting at 1pm, traffic will be prohibited along sections of Washington Street, Victoria Street, Wesley Street, Church Street and Parliament Street.

A police spokesman said: “Police officers will be on hand to monitor the march and assist with traffic flow in the City of Hamilton. Diversions will be in place; however, delays are anticipated. Motorists are therefore advised to take alternate routes if possible.”
