Tonight’s training class for the annual sand sculpting contest at Horseshoe Bay has been cancelled due to the weather.
The pre-competition clinic was due to run between 5pm and 6pm tonight, but will now be held tomorrow night between 6pm and 7pm.
Organisers said the first of two classes, held on Saturday evening, went ahead despite the rain, but that it was decided to cancel tonight’s sand sculpting clinic.
The competition, organised by the Department of Youth, Sport and Recreation, is scheduled for Saturday, August 30 at Horseshoe Bay Beach.
