Construction kings breeze to block party win

The Bermuda Air Conditioning team has been crowned the “Kings of Construction”.
The BAC outfit beat off the Fire Service and two teams from the Regiment to claim top honours and receive the coveted silver shovel at Friday night’s block party.
Four teams did battle along Front Street with participants racing against the clock and each other to fill 50 gallon drums with sand, carry and stack concrete blocks, and also pull a truck.
Organiser and president of the Construction Association, Charles Dunstan, said: “It was a very successful evening.
“We had a great turn out and everyone had a fantastic time.
“This is the fourth year the event has been running and it has now really reached the magnitude of what we first envisaged.”
