Police commissioner Michael DeSilva has expressed his condolences to the family and friends of former constable Rodney Trott, who passed away on Sunday morning.

“Rodney and I served together as junior officers in the mid-1980s, and I will always remember his friendly, gentle nature and infectious smile,” Mr DeSilva said. “Rodney served with the Bermuda Police Service between 1984 and 2002 and he was highly regarded for his expertise in the Scenes of Crime Office [now called the Forensic Support Unit].

“I would like to especially express our sympathies to Rodney’s daughter, Teshae Trott, who is a serving police officer.”
