A dawn service will be held tomorrow morning to mark the centenary of the Anzac Day commemorations in Bermuda.

The memorial to Australian and New Zealand troops who died in the First World War will take place at the beach off Coral Beach at 6.15am. Later in the day, at 5pm, a service will be held at the Military Cemetery, St George’s, in memory of those who died in the Great War, including the only Victoria Cross recipient buried in Bermuda, George Samson, and Anzac soldier Arthur Legrice. For more information about the dawn service, contact Jane Chapman at jane.chapman1@gmail.com or call 599-5000.
