A woman was taken to hospital this morning with serious injuries after she lost control of her motorcycle.

At about 1.32am, first responders attended a single-vehicle road traffic accident on Middle Road, Paget, near Chapel Road.

According to a police statement the woman was riding her cycle when she lost control.

“This resulted in the woman being taken to the hospital via ambulance, where she is being treated for serious leg and facial injuries,” the statement added.
