An industrial accident has been reported at the construction site at the former Pink Beach resort.

The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service said the incident, in which a man fell from a two-storey height, was under investigation.

The accident, which left a male worker complaining of hip pain after sustaining unspecified injuries, was reported shortly before 2pm. A fire truck and four personnel responded.

The man, who was conscious and breathing normally, was assessed and treated at the scene by EMTs and hospital staff before being taken by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
