Riann Ming, a graduate of the University of North Carolina, has been announced as the 2015 recipient of the Brown Family Scholarship.

The fund was established six years ago by former Premier Ewart Brown, along with his wife Wanda Henton Brown, as well as Dr Brown’s sister Emelita Johnson and his niece, Dr. Kim Robinson.

The scholarship is intended for Bermudian undergraduate or postgraduate students who wish to pursue their educations in the fields of health sciences, dentistry, nursing and medicine at Howard University.
