Public Works services will be affected by a staff team building meeting tomorrow, the Ministry of Public Works has advised.

Fuel stations at the Government Quarry and Marsh Folly composting facility will close at 12pm - Tynes Bay waste facility will operate as normal.

The ministry said: “From 12pm to 5pm, Public Works staff will be attending a team building meeting and as such there will be limited services provided during this time.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Normal business operations will resume on Thursday.”
