Tucker House book set for signing session

A book signing of the Bermuda National Trust’s Tucker House, The Story of a House, Its people & Its Contents is to be held tomorrow.

The book, about the former East End residence of Henry Tucker which is now a museum, was researched and written by Diana Chudleigh, with photographs taken by Ann Spurling.

Henry Tucker, whose family lived in the house from the 1770s, became the chairman of the East India Company, the world’s most powerful trading company that saw the rise of the British Empire.

The book, priced $10, is small and lightweight and described as an ideal stocking stuffer. The book signing takes place from noon until 2pm at Trustworthy Old Cellar Lane, 47 Front Street.
