Man hurt in five-vehicle crash on Boxing Day

Two motorcycles and three cars were involved in a crash that left one man with severe leg injuries on Boxing Day.

The accident happened on South Road, near the junction with Devondale Drive, Devonshire, shortly after 1pm.

“We would like to remind the public to drive responsibly especially during the holiday season,” said a spokeswoman for the Bermuda Police Service.

“The Bermuda Police Service has put measures in place to increase our visibility on the roads in efforts to prevent and deter bad driving behaviour and you can expect to see our officers across the Island in this regard.”

Witnesses to the crash are urged to call police on 295-0011.
